As a County entity, the Hawai‘i Island Film Office (HIFO) does not recommend and does not hire crew or vendors for productions. However, an essential way to get your name out there is to list your business in the HIFO production resources directory – it’s free for Hawai‘i Island residents and vendors. Because we carefully consider every application, the evaluation process takes approximately 2 weeks. Submitting an application does not guarantee a listing in the HIFO directory.
