The Hawaii County Sustainability Summit focuses on how we can become more self-reliant and promote opportunities for residents, and that includes the Creative Industries. Join local photographer Andrew Richard Hara as he discusses his creative journey from growing up in Hilo to working for National Geographic, NASA, BBC and hundreds of people and organizations throughout the world.
After 10 years away, Andrew returned home to Hawaii Island to reconnect with his birthplace and to apply his education and expertise to serve the arts and progressive sciences, including environmental conservation and sustainability.
Andrew will also answer your questions, and County Councilwoman Ashley Kierkiewicz will moderate.
